NEXT MEETING:   Our next meeting will be on Monday, July 21, 2008 at the London Pickle Works.  A representative from the Ohio Department of Insurance will speak to us about Predatory Medicare Advantage Sales.

PAST WEEK:  What a beautiful night we had for our annual pot luck meal.  Our speakers were Independence police officers Jim Green and Shane Bates and their respective four-legged partners Paddo and Chino.  Officers Green and Bates explained the duties of the K-9 unit and the type of training that is the animal and handler go through.  The officers donned a stuffed suit to demonstrate how the dogs are trained when they track and capture a suspect.  What a thrill it was to watch these officers and their partners interact.

GUESTS:  It was a pleasure to see so many wives and family members last night.

SUNSHINE:   What a great night to see Agan and D. Nicastro!  Both of them looked great.
