MEETING: Meeting
on May 14th is Vic Lia talking to us about
furniture care. This is a spouse’s night
be sure to let Edie Schilla know if you
are coming and the number of guests you will be bringing. This month there are two spouse’s
nights. The other one is on May 21st
a spiritual roundtable with the leaders of the five community churches. Get your reservations into Edie.

WEEK: There was no program. The regular monthly Board was held.

is at Pleasant Lake Villa undergoing rehab.
Ornas is still gathering
strength and hopes to return next week.
SINGING: Hornack
led us in singing “Happy Birthday” to: Biondi, John Nicastro, and Bob
Scott. Two anniversaries were
also recognized: Ferilino
and Woods. The group did a
fine job in singing “You are My Sunshine”.
HAPPY
DOLLARS: Wright had a dollar for the
successful Fishing Derby. Spilker was happy that her lawn mower
started.
SPIRITUAL
AIMS: Wright encouraged the members to
mark their calendars for May 21. A
Round-table session with the five local church ministers is scheduled to
determine need, identify projects and get ideas how we can help them.
HOBY: Rebecca Kapusta is
collecting used eyeglasses for community services project for HOBY. Check drawers etc., gather those old not used
glasses and bring them in.
Thank you to Diane Weseloh and Marilyn Senick for their note taking which make these bulletins
possible.

KIDS: The Club will hold a
reception to Charter the St. Michael’s K-Kids Club on Thursday, May 17th
from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at the Civic Center.
Cake and ice cream will be served.
Everyone is invited.
SPECIAL
PROJECT: The collection of school
supplies for Afghanistan schools is getting a great response. Bring stuff to Edie Schilla.
We will probably pack boxes sometime the first week of June. Help will be needed!
CHICKEN
BBQ: Sunday, May 20th
at the Elmwood Pavilion. As always the
whole club needs to pitch in and help.
Sign up to work. Edie Schilla is looking for cakes, either donate $10. to
have her purchase cakes or bake two 9x13 cakes.
Everyone needs to get out and sell those tickets, 1400 chickens were ordered.
FISHING DERBY:
Kreizenb
eck reported that the weather
cooperated for the Derby and everyone had a great time. Approximately 135 children participated.
TAE
KWON DO: A special event scheduled for Sept. 15th. We were asked to run the concession stand at
the Field House. We are working this
jointly with the I.H.S. Athletic Boosters.
Stay tune for more information.
This is the day before the Fall Chicken BBQ.
DIVISION COUNCIL: Division Council will meet on Thursday May 17th
at 8:15 pm at Busch Funeral Chapel on Ridge Rd.
These meeting are open to everyone.
