NEXT MEETING:  Monday, April 7, 2208.  (can you believe it).  There will be no program because of the Board Meeting after words.

PAST MEETING:  Rich Rejna did a great job in telling us about his trip to Honduras.  He was there for 13 days with 11 other people.  During that time he helped build a church and painted doors and insides of buildings.  He explained how the blocks for the church had to be hand made and weren’t very strong.  They used mortar that was made from sand and water.  He laughingly told us that they practically lived on a diet of fried beans, rice and chicken.  He told us that the people there appreciated everything that was being done for them.  He also stated that the children were very friendly and open even though he couldn’t speak a lot of Spanish.  Rejna showed a power point presentation of some of the kids, people and buildings that the volunteers helped build.

GUESTS:  Rejna introduced his guests Karen and Tony Berg.

HAPPY DOLLARS:  There were many dollars for Ornas’s return (thank you very much!) and for Spilker safe return from her trip to Tennessee.  Kapusta had a dollar for Freihnrich who helped with the tournament.  Hornack was delighted with the first Indians victory.  Ryna tossed in a buck for his guests.  Wells put in a dollar for a safe trip to Florida for he and his wife.  Freihnich was especially happy to toss in a dollar for Kapusta who can organize and control a tournament with over 1,000 people, yet his wife controls him at home.  Duhan was happy to see his son.  Chrzanowski announced that George Jicha, Jr. was back home.  He lives in Arizona but he may be able to come one evening and speak to us.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS:  It’s time to think of officers for 2008-2009.  If you have suggestions for officers contact Chrzanowski.

VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT:  Our next big fund raiser is the Volleyball Tournament April 12 and 13.  Iula has everything ready what he needs now are workers for Saturday and Sunday.  Iula is in desperate need of people to work especially on Sunday.  If he doesn’t get enough help he will have to close the concession during that time which will bring in less profit for us.

SINGING:  Hornack led us in singing “Take me Out to the Ballgame” and in honor of Scouloukas anniversary we sang “Ain’t She Sweet”

PANCAKE BREAKFAST:  Kapusta needs all monies and unsold tickets in immediately.  If you didn’t sell any tickets call him and let him know this so that he can reconcile the monies.

DIVISION COUNCIL MEETING:  Division Council scheduled for Thursday, April 17th at 8:15 pm is being hosted by our club.  This would be the time for all members to attend a Division Council Meeting to show our interest and support.
