    NEXT MEETING:  Our next meeting will be at the Civic Center.  It is the Annual Christmas Party.  The cost of the party is $10 per adult and $5 for children nine and over.  Check with Kapusta to see if you can still get in on the fun!

     

    PAST WEEK:  No program last meeting because of the Regular monthly Board Meeting.

     

    BOARD MEETING NOTES:

    1.      As part of his chairmanship of the Kiwanis International Relations Committee Rejna is planning a trip in January to Honduras with Fr. Jenne of St. Basil’s Church.  He requested a total of $936 to help cover some of his expenses.  The Board voted unanimously to give him the money.  This will be part of his 2007-2008 budget.

    2.      The Board voted to allow President Senick to distribute any unsold tickets for the Cassidy Theatre Production “Odd Couple” as she saw fit.

     

    SUNSHINE:  Agan was operated on on Tuesday, December 04, 2007.  Let’s keep him in our prayers.  Chrzanowski reported that he has spoken with Biondi.  He is having medical difficulties but would like to come back to the club.

     

    INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS:  Rejna is all ready for his trip to Honduras.  His trip is January 20th – 30th, 2008.

     

    COMMUNITY SERVICE:  Klepacz had a few gift wishes left, which he passed out.  All gifts need to be wrapped and brought to the next meeting or dropped off at his home by December 11, 2007. 

     

    INTERCLUB:  Benes is planning an interclub with Brooklyn on Tuesday Dec. 11th   They meet at noon at the Golden Corral on Brookpark Road.

     

    KEY CLUB:  Kapusta reported that there were about 25 kids at the last meeting.  The group has set up a ‘Giving Tree’ and all the items have been taken.  They are making hats, gloves and blankets for University Settlement.

    SANTA DELIVERY:  Check with Spilker to see how you can help with this project.  She is still in need of a Santa, one set of runners, and a few people for Friday’s drop off at Elmwood Rec Center.  That time is between 5:30 and 8:00 pm.  Delivery date is December 16th.  All those involved are ask to meet at the Bramley House at 12:30 pm to help load sleighs and get everything ready.

     

    CASSIDY THEATRE PRODUCTION: This year’s production is the “Odd Couple”.  Mark you calendars for Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 8pm.  See Senick for tickets

     

    DIVISION COUNCIL  The monthly Division Council meeting will be held on December 20th at Busch Funeral Chapel on Ridge Rd. 

     

    PRESIDENT’S COMMENT:  President Senick stressed the importance of getting new members.  She would like to see one new member a month this coming year.  Holidays are a good time since we see so many people during that time.  Get out and talk up Kiwanis!
