WEEK: Our speaker was Carnell Mclaurin og D”angela
Mclaurin Computer for Kids Mr.
Mclaurin told the group about how the murder of his daughter D’angela in April.
2001 and other dramatic events in his life set a course for him to develop his
non-profit corporation that gives away used computers to children in need. It was while he was working for FedEx and
delivering computers to a company that he noticed that the used ones were being
put aside. He asked if he could have
them and they told him yes. The used
computers he collects goes to individual students, not schools. Mr. Mclaurin is in need of more
computers. Do you now someone or a

WEEKLY THOUGHT
People often say that, in a democracy, decisions are
made by a majority of the people. Of
course, that is not true. Decisions are
made by a majority of those who make themselves heard and who vote – a very
different thing.
