NEXT MEETING: August
27, 2007, our meeting will come to order for the final time this summer at the Pickleworks
on Fiztwater Rd. Program will be
announced.
PAST WEEK: The
Steak Roast and Wine Tasting event held at the Heidelberg Distribution Center
on Pleasant Valley was special, indeed.
There was a great turn out! The
food was good and the wine expertise shown by Heidelberg’s manager, Todd was
exceptional. He directed our folks in
selecting just the right wine for their tastes.
The steaks, grilled by chef, Chris and asst chef Pete melted in your
mouth. Judging from the laughter and
conversation everyone seemed to be having a great time!

GUESTS: Special guest this evening included, Mayor Fred Ramos
and his wife, Cheri and Recreation Director, Ed Kostyak and his wife
Lenore. It’s always a pleasure to have
City officials attend our events.
Sandy Senick accompanied her sister Marilyn. We often see Sandy at our events and she is a
big help at our fundraisers. Of course,
we can’t over look all the wives that were present. Donna Agan, Shirley Manza, Claudia Duhan,
Dolores Hornack, Gail Jordan, Kathy Kapusta, Mary Farrara, Karen Kreizenbeck,
Rita Nicastro, Noreen Rejna, Judy Scouloukas, Betty Shadrach, Karen Shallcross,
Elaine Todt, Mary Ann Wright, Janet Young and Mary Kay Zak. Quite a turnout!
SUNSHINE: One
of the highlights of the evening was seeing Agan on his feet and
feasting on the excellent food! It only
goes to prove the old saying” You can’t keep a good Kiwanian down for very
long!
NTERCLUB: Seven members
– Bontempo, Chodzin, Costanzo, Lance,
Kukawka, Rusnaczyk and Benes attended
the Interclub at Nordonia, Augut 15th.
HOME DAYS: The Ladies
Home Days Pie Booth account totals $1,400 they are looking for ideas as to what
to do with these funds. Contact Senick
with ideas you may have.
SINGING: Hornak summarized all the
birthdays and anniversaries that have been missed over the summer. We sang “Happy Birthday” to Duhan,
Bob Jordon, Zak and Wells. And “Let Me Call you Sweetheart” for Klepacz
and Mary Farrar’s and Rich and Noreen Rejna’s
anniversaries.

at Concordia.
Monday, Sept 10th – Concordia Lutheran Church,
Board Meeting.

Monday, Sept 24th – Installation Dinner – Civic Center
Coming in September, Monday, Sept. 10th we
will be back at Concordia Lutheran Church YEA!
