AURORA OHIO DISTRICT CONVENTION:  Spilker  gave a report on the Ohio District Convention which was held this past weekend.  Ohio currently has 270 clubs with 10,179 members seven clubs were dissolved over the past year.  The District has 23 Circle K clubs with 500 + members and 250 Key Clubs with a membership of 11,000

A By Law change was presented to the delegates.  The change would waive district and club dues for members serving in the military combat zones.  It was defeated for several reasons:  1. “Combat zone” could not be effectively defined; 2.  the clubs are too diverse as far as religious beliefs, customs and cultural backgrounds to impose this kind of regulation.  Each club was asked to deal with the issue in its own manner.
